  • Muree!!!!!!!!

The middle-year months have very comfortable weather with high temperatures that are comfortable. These months see the most precipitation with 8 to 14 days of precipitation per month. June – August is the second busiest season for tourism in Murree.

  • Lake Thoe!!!!!!

Lake Tahoe is a large freshwater lake in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, straddling the border of California and Nevada. It’s known for its beaches and ski resorts. On the southwest shore, Emerald Bay State Park contains the 1929 Nordic-style mansion Vikingsholm. Along the lake’s northeast side, Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park includes Sand Harbor Beach and Spooner Lake, a gateway to the long-distance Tahoe Rim Trail. The water in Lake Tahoe is 99.994% pure, according to the Tahoe Fund, and considered one of the purest large lakes in the world. Commercially distilled water is 99.998% pure, so it’s pretty close. t’s no secret that the winter in Tahoe provides excellent conditions for skiing. The snow is plentiful, and the slopes are grand. … Skiing is just one of many Lake Tahoe winter activities to enjoy — you can also partake in snowboarding, ice skating or hiking through the snow-coated Sierra Nevadas.

  • Lake Bled!!!!

Lake Bled is a lake in the Julian Alps of the Upper Carniolan region of northwestern Slovenia, where it adjoins the town of Bled. Lake Bled is Slovenia’s most popular tourist attraction and although it’s getting more and more famous, it’s still relatively unknown comparing to other European landmarks. And, in contrast to other places flooded by masses of visitors, the beautiful Bled is not overrated at all. Winter is quite a Fantastic time to visit Bled. There is snow on the Alp mountains, Lake Bled freezes over and festive events bring the sleepy town to life. Photographers will be taken away by the winter landscape and winter sports lovers can choose from skating, skiing and sledding.

Skardu – A place of Surprises😮

Hey guys!!!!!! I hope you all are well and healthy👍 So you might remember me in my second last blog ( you should go and check it out!!!) i said i would do more blogs about my home country Pakistan!!!! so i am!!!! If you can see the title you might remember it from second last blog!!!! yes SKARDU!!!! and if your wondering why i wrote surprises!!!! well……………………….. Skardu Is a place of surprises!!!!!!

Facts!!!!!

1. Skardu is located in the 10 kilometres wide by 40 kilometres long Skardu Valley, at the confluence of the Indus and Shigar Rivers at an elevation of nearly 2,500 metres.

2. The city is an important gateway to the eight – thousanders of the nearby karakoram Mountain range. The town is located on the Indus river, which separates the Karakoram Range from the Himalayas.

3.  Skardu lies in the heart of world’s mightiest mountain ranges, the Great Himalaya and the Karakoram.

Few of the lakes:

As you know in Pakistan there are a lot of lakes in Pakistan such as 👇 and let me try to

Kachura Lakes:

The Kachura Lakes are two lakes in the Skardu District of Gilgit-Baltistan, northern Pakistan. The lakes, at 2,500 metres in elevation, are Upper Kachura Lake and Lower Kachura Lake. The latter is also known as Shangrila Lake and is within a    tourist resort named Shangrila Resort outside the town of Skardu. I only came at these lakes when i was young but i only remember my dad boating and i was crying😅 because i was afraid of the water at that time😆

Satpara lake:

Satpara Lake is a natural lake near Skardu, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan, which supplies water to Skardu Valley. It is fed by the Satpara Stream. Satpara Lake is situated at an elevation of 2,636 meters above sea level. Here we were fishing and as usual i was scared😒 as usual!!!!!

Mountains🏔️

Here you will be surprised by what kind of Mountains lie deep inside Pakistan!!!!!!!!!! Prepare to get your mind blown🤯

K2 ( second highest in the world):

K2, at 8,611 metres above sea level, is the second highest mountain in the world, after Mount Everest at 8,848 metres. It is located on the China–Pakistan border between Baltistan in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of northern Pakistan. Many people have gone too just look there and only people that have gone are very BRAVE cause believe me it is a little dangerous!!!!

Nanga parbat 😲

Nanga Parbat, locally known as Diamer, is the ninth highest mountain in the world at 8,126 metres above sea level. Located in the Diamer District of Gilgit-Baltistan region, Pakistan, Nanga Parbat is the western anchor of the Himalayas. Nanga Parbat, is nicknamed “Killer Mountain” for its high number of climber fatalities. An immense, dramatic peak rising far above its surrounding terrain, Nanga Parbat is known to be a difficult climb. OK guys now we are going to talk about one of the most ATTRACTIVE yet DEADLY mountain, any person who has been brave enough to go there has never come back alive but some have managed to get back!!!!

Now I am just sharing another place which is very INTERESTING😁💖

Skardu fort:

Skardu Fort or Kharpocho means The king of Forts is a fort in Skardu city in Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan. Australian mountaineer and film maker Greg Child writes that the fort is “perched above the junction of the rivers” and overlooks the Rock of Skardu.

so guys i hope you liked these facts about SKARDU and

Top 3 landscapes you must see in Pakistan☪️

Hi guys!!!!!! i hope you are doing well and are safe, most importantly!!!!!! So guys today our topic revolves around a place i was born, Yes!!! I was born in PAKISTAN!!!!!! Lets say it is my home!!!!! Well lets face it Pakistan is not a very popular country. But to me don’t ever judge a book by its cover!!!! And this blog kind of means that if you look inside you can find many beautiful things about!!!!! So it dosen’t matter if you live in America, China, Japan or Canada we are going to Pakistan!!!!!!!

Hunza!!!!!!!

Hunza is a mountainous valley in the autonomous Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan. I have only been there in my childhood so i can only tell you what i learnt from seeing the pictures that my parents had taken. Hunza is situated in the northern part of Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan, bordering with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to the west and the Xinjiang region of China to the north-east. The path i had went from was very dangerous we were all very scared it was like such a short road were a huge van had to go but luckily the driver was very skilled and we drove out safely.

Skardu!!!!!!!!

Skardu is located in the 10 kilometres (6 miles) wide by 40 kilometres (25 miles) long Skardu Valley. I had gone from Hunza to Skardu it was very dangerous😨  The town is located on the Indus river, which separates the Karakoram Range from the Himalayas. This journey was, my friends even more dangerous as we had to drive on snowy MOUNTAINS😱!!!!!!! Yes it was so dangerous i was crying the whole time!!!!!! Well of course i was a child at that time!!!!!!! The warmest month in Skardu is July, with an average high-temperature of 23°C (73.4°F) and an average low-temperature of 10°C (50°F). So that should explain to you that both of the places i have told you about are COLD!!!!!!!! In fact it was so cold that we couldn’t even take a BATH!!!!! If we did we would freeze to death🥶!!!!!

Muree!!!!!!!

Murree It was initially known as US sanatorium and it was best and most popular convalescence area. It was selected because of its cool climate and it used to serve for British troops and was one of the several such hill stations established in the foothills of Himalayas across the Indian subcontinent. Muree features a subtropical highland climate (Cwb) under the Köppen climate classification. It is situated in the outer Himalayas, retaining high altitude. This type of area has cold, snowy winters, relatively cool summers with drastically escalated rain, in relation with lower altitudes, and frequent fog.

So guys i hoped you liked this topic and just remember what i said “Never judge a book by its cover”

HOTELS VS HOSTELS

Hi guys!!!!!!! Hope you all are safe inside your houses and i know that this is the second time i am doing a VS blog blog but i can’t help it!!!!!! So lets get straight to our post!!!!!!!!!

HOTELS!!!!!

A hotel is an establishment that provides paid lodging on a short-term basis. i have been to a lot of hotels in my life because of all the travelling i keep doing with my family and most of the hotels i have been to are very nice!!!!!! Hotel rooms are usually numbered or named in some smaller hotels  to allow guests to identify their room. All the hotels i have been to had numbers on them so my rooms didn’t have any names!!!!!! Some high class hotels offer meals as part of a room and board arrangement. I have been given food service only one time and the hotel was extremely high class so me and my family couldn’t refuse!!!!!!!!!! So enough talking time to move on to our other topic HOSTELS!!!!!!

HOSTELS!!!!!!!

A hostel means simply a shared accommodation. Instead of staying in a private room with a private bathroom, you stay in a dorm room sharing the room with other people. Same goes for the bathroom. It means, it is a place where traveler sleep on a budget and share the space. I have never been to a hostel but one of my relatives have so i am writing their experience to you!!!!!!!! Hostels provide budget accommodation where guests can book a bed, usually a bunk bed, in a dormitory and share a bathroom and common areas such a kitchen, lounge, TV room.More and more hostels now provide private rooms, family rooms and apartments. Well the relative of mine that stayed in a hostel didn’t get these things as they went a long time ago.

So I hope you all enjoyed!

Stay Safe!

~Maryam💖💖
